The Return of theDMZ! - yes at last I've recovered from the disappearance of radiodmz.com and have decided to forge ahead with some new shows on new stations, and of course a whole load of new records and new guests. Production of the show has relocated to my new house and hopefully we should be in for a long run.
You can hear the show weekly on various internet stations - 9am-11am PDT on club246.com, 4pm-6pm PDT on smoothmusic.org and 7pm-9pm PDT on m4radio.com - and it's also possible to download the shows from the edonkey network. So, if you're a DJ wyo wants to play a guest set, or a radio station who wants to play the show, or maybe just a listener who's wanting to chat then you can mail me here - scott at djsnm dot com
| Artist | Track | Label | Buy? (readme) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bassbin Twins | ESW | Marine Parade | |
This is the intro track we play
at the start of every show. Nice to hear it again after a few months off.

| Rui da Silva |
Touch Me | Future Sound Of Lisbon | |
Vocal driven progressive house number which was a huge hit in 2001.
| Supreme Bachelors |
S&M | FFRR | |
Another of my theme tunes makes an appearance......
| Chemical Brothers |
Out Of Control | AstralWerks | |
From their 1999 Album 'Surrender' this track featured Bernard Sumner from New Order
providing vocals.
| Dusted |
Always remember to respect & honour your mother - part 1 | |
That's one hell of a title, a great sentiment certainly, and well suited to the angelic sounds on the track.
| Orbital |
Nothing Left (Tsunami 1 Remix) | FFRR | |
A perfect example of the progressive breaks genre, this rare orbital remix gets a look in
for this show, sadly I can't spare the time to present this near perfect record in all it's glory.

| Christian J |
Nightfighter | Distinctive | |
Everyone loves the breakdown in this track, almost to the point that I see breaks fans
on the dancefloor getting prepared for the warbling bass to kick in - about 2 minutes
before it actually happens.
| Junkie XL and Sasha |
Beauty Never Fades | |
Junkie XL have secretly worked together for a long time, this electro tinged
progressive house track is the first to actually give them the same billing.
| Q+K Session |
Pulsate | Dorigen | |
Regular listeners to the show may be interested to know that regular DMZ guest
Leni K is the K in this duo, expect another guest slot from Leni RSN.
| Monk and Cantanella |
Enter The Monk (Hybrid Mix) | Distinctive | |
One of my all time favourite breaks tracks - no I mean really it is - I know
I say that a lot, but this is a damn fine record I'll think you all agree. If
you like this you should pick up the Hybrid remixes album.
| Members Of Mayday |
Sonic Empire (Jan Driver Mix) | Deviant | |
The Jan Driver mix is probably the most dancefloor friendly, effortlessly transitioning
between groovy electro and banging techno, in a manner which makes me jealous I should add.
| Dave Clarke |
Before I Was So Ruedly Interrupted | |
The Dark Lord of techno, Dave Clarke, garnered some headlines when he released this track
digitally before it was released in any physical format, that was back in the days when
the record industry was terrified of digital downloads.
| DJ Zinc |
138 Trek | |
One of the few UK garage tracks that managed to really escape that nice with credibility,
DJ Zinc was better known for his Jungle tracks, and indeed he produced a follow up called
178 trek (in case you hadn't guessed - the number refers to the BPM, and Trek refers to
the Star Trek samples liberally sprinkled through the track.
