Tracklisting - Hour 1

Artist Track Label Buy? (readme)
Bassbin Twins ESW Marine Parade
This is the intro track we play at the start of every show.

2 Men With Tits
U Turn Me On (Scanty Remix)
This house track sounds like it's accelerating to warp speed all the way through, powered by the latest in acid house technology. Ahead, Warp Factor 303!

Slater Hogan and John Larner
East Side Catz
Interesting take on the whole Jazzy house sound, this record has some good old fashioned scat vocals and some proper beats which are rarely found on other, aneamic, jazzy house tracks.
Acen
Trip To Da Moon (DJ Eclipse Mix)
Breakbeat remix of the old rave classic, not as good as the original but still worth treating your ears to it.

Missy Elliot
4 My People (Basement Jaxx Acid Dub) Code Blue
Stripped down acid house from Basement Jaxx, you'd hardly notice Missy Elliot if I didn't tell you right?

Jon Culter feat E Man
It's Yours
Absolutely uplifting house record, great groove, mystic voiceover, a diva vocal which doesn't break the groove and a nice little horn line to round it out. A Perfect House Record.

Ils
No Soul (FC Kahuna Remix) Marine Parade
Glitchy but Groovy tech house re-rub of the original Ils breakbeat version.
2 Inda Bush
In Effect (Krafty Kuts Mix) Finger Lickin'
This weeks installment of 'Why Scott Loves Finger Lickin', the original mix is a funky house recors which throws everything but the kitchen sink into the mix. Krafty Kuts strips it down, rolls on a monster bassline and causes soundsystems all over the world to quake in their boots. (Well they would if sondsystems wore boots).

The Rapture
House Of Jealous Lovers DFA
New York Punk Funk anthem which you can't avoid hearing these days, for good reasons.
Les Tigres
Deceptacon (DFA Remix) Chicks on Speed Records
Anyone remember Bikini Kill? Well this is what the vocallist is up to these days, I highly recommend the album, but this track comes from their remix compilation.

LCD Soundsystem
Losing My Edge DFA
2 DFA records this week, plus one remix, yes DFA is something of a hot property right now, leading lights in hte new york disco punk scene. This is the label founder James Murphy reminiscing about the great musical moments in history. Music Geeks will love this, other people will wonder what the fuss is around.

Timo Maas
I've Been Dancing Perfecto
This track is only on the CD version of Timo's album 'Loud' but it's a pretty darn funky breaks number voiced by Martin Bettinghaus.

LP
Walking In Shadows
The band posted this to to Socal-Breaks forum for comments, if you've got any opinions on this dark breaks track you should go to the forum and tell them!

Space Maneuvers
Space Maneuvers (Total Separation Mix) Hooj
Atmospheric trance-breaks number, innovative when it was released, and still worth listening to.

Nerva
The Jakal Pitch Black
East Coast progressive house from the label established by Satellite records, they're a but hit and miss, but I love this particular track.

Sasha & Darren Emerson
Scorchio White
Only a little short stab of this track, by the legendary Sasha and Darren Emerson, the title comes from a british TV show called 'The Fast Show' - I can't explain it, you should go looking for it if you get a chance.

Hour 2 - Guest DJ - Clutch

Proper House Music from another Realtime DJ.

Stay Funky....
see ya Next Week.
